These include marine environments, for use in structures housing swimming pools and for industrial, agricultural, intensive animal farming and mining settings which can be dusty and gritty, with high exposure to pollutants and contaminants.
The superior performance of PERMALITE® in these environments is a result of its marine grade aluminium substrate. All aluminium forms a cohesive, protective oxide layer on its surface when exposed to oxygen. In the case of marine grade aluminium, the presence of alloyed magnesium in the aluminium substrate makes this oxide layer even more resistant to corrosion in these demanding environments.
